The bedspread is actually quilted by handusing ivory thread in rows along the velvet. This ensures that the hand stitching holds the inner wadding in place for extra warmth. The ivory stitching creates a ripple effect to the design. The reverse of the bedspread is lined in off white washed cotton poplin for extra durability and thickness  .

Our green velvet is dyed to our own colour recipe and then pre washed. The result is that it makes the quilt so soft to the touch and extremely tactile. If you are looking for extra warmth yet want a beautiful colour, then this is for you.

As it is a super king size measuring 260 x 260 cms , it is quite heavy at 5kg .It comes with its own plastic zipped carry case for useful storage.

If you do need to wash this bedspread we suggest a specialist cleaners due to the weight and size. It will not fit in a normal domestic washing machine.

The fabric is 100% cotton and has already been pre washed.
